Spero Group guarantees a high level of social protection for its employees. The company provides non-state pension plan, private medical scheme, and annual holidays. These programs are aimed at employees as well as members of their families. The company strives to observe rigorously the laws and regulations of the Republic of South Africa on industrial safety and environmental protection and to implement a system of measures aimed at attaining world-class standards in this area to fully prevent accidents, and reduce the negative impact on people’s health and the environment.

Sperosens is committed to its compliance with ISO Corporate Governance in order to provide transparent communication towards its stakeholders and be able to implement responsible management and control of the business activities.
Suppliers
We subscribe to stringent supplier vetting according to specific criteria to limit our risk exposure, while constantly working with existing suppliers to improve our quality and reliability. As the quality of Sperosens installations and products depends to a great extent on the quality of the supplied sub-components, much attention is given to the credit rating, factory equipment and production processes of the suppliers.
Health and Safety
We apply rigorous efforts to ensure general safety at the workplace. Our Fire and equipment safety handling are updated in accordance with health and safety related topics. Workplace health promotion, the adequacy of the workplaces (i.e light, height, the organisation of the work equipment & utilisation of tools) are controlled in order to achieve continuous improvement in the health and safety field.
Community upliftment
 | Sperosens continuously strives to contribute towards charity projects such as under privileged old age homes, HIV children, PEN action and identified charity projects. A successful Corporate and Charity Golf Day project was held in May 2010. The proceeds, household equipment, clothing and curtains were donated to Uncle Ben’s Den at Hermanstad in Pretroria. Active on-going charity involvements at Thusang Relief Association (HIV Home for Children), Môrestêr Foster Home Rustenburg and various under privileged homes. |
