Dust Switch - SNIFTER
The stainless steel SNIFTER dust switch is used to detect filter bag breakage quickly and cost-effectively and applies the tribo-electric AC signal principle. The dust switch responds quickly enough to meet the requirements of bag filters and can also be used for process control (as an ON-OFF system) in flow – zero flow situations in bulk solids handling and pneumatic transport.
• Applies the tribo-electric AC signal principle.
• Detects solid particles in gas flow.
• Detects dust particle sizes of 0,3 µm or larger and measurement range from 0.1 mg/m.
• Gas velocity with a minimum of 4 m/sec and 12 – 24 V DC.
• 2 solid state relays (170 mA/200 mA with single output).
